Remote learning this school year will look much different from how we finished school in the spring. Families that choose to learn from home are required to log 6 hours each day of learning. We will have a schedule, just as we would in person, but because students will not be in the building there are frequent breaks included that may be used as you deem most appropriate. The best way you can prepare your student for remote learning is to designate a work space where they will do their school work (including video meetings) and to support them in completing their assignments. USD 257 is requiring at least 2 hours of remote learning to be “off-line,” which is where your responsibility as a parent will be most important.
